SEBBA Fred “Hoss” Shaw Scholarship

A scholarship program was established by the Southeastern Beefmaster Breeders Association (SEBBA) under the presidency of Kendall McKenzie in 1996. The SEBBA Fred “Hoss” Shaw Scholarship supports education by providing scholarships to young men and women who are active in the Beefmaster breed and who are pursuing a higher education. Applicants must currently be a Junior, Regular or Life member of the SEBBA or the direct descendant of a current Regular or Life member of the SEBBA.

The Fred “Hoss” Shaw Scholarship Fund will award one $1000.00 (one thousand dollar) scholarship.

The SEBBA Scholarship Committee will review all scholarship applications and select a winner. Application deadline is June 1st of application year.

The scholarship recipient winner will be announced to the SEBBA membership and recognized for their academic achievements and accomplishments at the SEBBA Convention Dinner in August of application year. Attendance is not mandatory, but please try to attend.

The Charlie Jones Memorial Scholarship

The family of Charlie Jones, Channarock Farms has set up a scholarship fund that will award $1000 scholarship. The Charlie Jones Memorial Scholarship supports education by providing scholarships to young men and women who are active in the Beefmaster breed and who are pursuing a higher education. Applicants must currently be a Junior, Regular or Life member of the SEBBA or the direct descendant of a current Regular or Life member of the SEBBA.

The Charlie Jones Memorial Scholarship  will award 1 $1000.00 (one-thousand dollar) scholarship.
